Skeletek Racks

C Model

Skeletek Are The Number One Racks On The Market !!

Our customers are our best advertisement !

Private individuals, schools, banks, hospitals, military units, corporations all know what is the best. That is why they all buy and recommend Skeletek Racks!

Due to the popularity of the Skeletek B28U-HD rack we developed a new C model which is identical to the B28U-HD model  with the exception of the metal frame thickness of 1.5 MM and the addition of newly designed 30 wheelbase. The new 30" wheelbase comes with the option to mount 2 frames front and back resulting in a 4 post rack.

Like all Skeletek racks, the C model is modular in design. One modular frame can vertically stack upon another modular unit. It is very easily assembled from interchangeable rigid components resulting in U sizes ranging from 16, 20 and up to 40U. Partially elliptical assembly apertures provide for perfect fitting of devices even if devices or their brackets deviate from the 19" standard to some degree. Skeletek Racks come standard with a wheelbase that swivels and locks for easy mobility on flat surfaces when necessary.

The Skeletek C model is capable of handling all 19" industry standard devices like routers, switches, studio equipment and even servers up to 40" deep when utilizing the 4 post design with Skeletek UB-LEX brackets. The UB-LEX brackets are 25" long and can handle weight capacity of up to 320 pounds lab. tested. You may stack multiple servers on one pair of UB-LEX brackets.

The new design allows for combination of sizes to fit your needs and reduce your spending. Options of 8U or 16U units can be installed on the back end of the wheelbase to form a 4-post rack or as an expansion unit when stacked on top of the main unit.

The C model is compatible with B28U-HD because it has the same frame mold but it is not compatible with other Skeletek B models. Any C model size frame can be used as an expansion unit or as a 4-post backend frame. The only difference between the HD and C model is metal thickness. The C model has a bigger and wider frame and it comes with 5/16" thick bolts with matching self-locking serrated hex nuts for easy assembly. It takes 4 bolts on each side of the frame attaching to the wheelbase which makes  it much sturdier than the B model. When installing expansion unit using expansion plates kit, it takes 8 bolts on each side and 6 more inside the bottom frame attaching to the top frame of the lower unit.
